PURPOSE
The aims and purposes of Knights of Columbus ladies auxiliaries are to assist the Knights of Columbus when called upon and to promote good fellowship through religious, social, and community activities. St. Anselm Ladies Auxiliary was organized in February 2016 with the following objectives:
The elective officers of St. Anselm Ladies Auxiliary shall consist of: President, Vice-President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Corresponding Secretary, and Board Member (Immediate Past President).
MEETINGS
Regular meetings are held bi-monthly on the 1st Wednesday of the month (same night as the Knights) in the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November in St. Joseph Hall. The Knights have invited the ladies to share a meal with them at 6:30 pm and then pray the rosary.
Separate meetings start at 7:00 pm.
DUES
Dues are $20 per year.
NETWORKING
St. Anselm Ladies Auxiliary (SALA) joined the Louisiana Ladies Auxiliary Association (LLAA). Some of the advantages are networking with experienced members for answers or suggestions regarding local projects, they offer opportunities to socialize and compete with sister auxiliaries through card tournaments, bowling tournaments, and a bake/taste contest. LLAA quarterly visits alternating auxiliaries and meet at the Knights of Columbus Annual Conventions.
