The mission of the Marriage and Family Life Ministry is mainly three-fold:
1. to assist engaged couples, who will be married at St. Anselm, with the marriage preparation programs required by the Archdiocese; namely, the In-Home Marriage Preparation six-week course, the Engaged Encounter weekend, and the Days for the Engaged.
2. to enrich the marriages of our parishioners by providing Christ-centered, thought-provoking programs, like Willwood’s United in Love, United in Christ series, and Supper and Substance evenings.
3. to reach out to our separated and divorced parishioners to let them know we care about them and are educating ourselves in ways we can help them.
The Natural Family Planning (NFP) Ministry appears on our webpage because the engaged couples marrying at St. Anselm must attend a Natural Family Planning class, in addition to the marriage preparation classes. Click on the NFP link just below ours for specifics.
